Aquila Rig #3 OIME PARCO S/L 7
(Working in West Texas)
Rig 3 has been in operation
since August 2005. Rig 3 has operated in the Barnett Shale gas
play of North Texas and in West Texas on a contract basis for Eagle Oil & Gas
Co., True Star Petroleum, Inc., The Harding Company,
Chesapeake Operating, H&M Resources, St. Mary Land &
Exploration, Cadence Energy partners and Matador Resources.
Rig 3 is a 1,200 hp mechanical rig equipped with a 750,000
pound capacity PARCO SL-7 mast and substructure capable of
drilling to a depth of 15,000 feet. The complete inventory

Aquila Rig #4 OIME PARCO S/L 7
(Working in East
Texas / Louisiana)
Rig 4 commenced operations in October, 2006. Rig 4 has
operated in Central and East Texas and is currently drilling
in the Haynesville Shale play in Louisiana. Rig 4 has
operated on a contract basis for Eagle Oil & Gas Co., True
Star Petroleum, Inc., Hunt Oil Co., Stroud Petroleum, and
Chesapeake Operating.
Rig 4 is a 1,500 hp diesel electric rig equipped with a
750,000 pound capacity PARCO SL-7 mast and substructure
capable of drilling to a depth of 16,000’ with a SL-7
Drawworks and National Oilwell 10P130 Triplex Pumps. The

Aquila Rig #8 NATIONAL 1320UE
(Working in West Texas)
Rig 8 has been
operating in West Texas for Chesapeake Energy since
commencing operations in July, 2006 and was named Chesapeake Energy’s West Texas Rig of the Quarter
for the 1st Quarter of 2008.
Rig 8 is a National 1320 UE, 2,000 hp diesel electric rig
equipped with a 1,000,000 pound capacity Lee C. Moore mast
and cantilevered substructure, National Oilwell 1320UE
Drawworks, and National Oilwell 10P130 Triplex Pumps. Rig 8
is capable of drilling to depths of 22,000 feet. The

Rig 10 has been operating
in West Texas for Chesapeake Energy since commencing
operations in July, 2006.
Rig 10 was awarded Chesapeake Energy’s West Texas Rig of the
Quarter for the 4th Quarter of 2007 and the 4th
Quarter of 2008.
Rig 10 is a National 1320 UE, 2,000 hp diesel electric rig
equipped with a 1,000,000 pound capacity Lee C. Moore mast
and cantilevered substructure, National Oilwell 1320UE
Drawworks, and Gardner Denver PZ11 Triplex Pumps. Rig 10 is
capable of drilling to depths of 22,000 feet. The complete

Rig 12 has operated
in East Texas since commencing operations in February 2006.
Rig 12 has operated for Eagle Oil & Gas, Hunt Oil, AKG and
Chesapeake Energy.
Rig 12 is a National 1320 UE, 2,000 hp diesel electric rig
equipped with a 1,000,000 pound capacity Lee C. Moore mast
and cantilevered substructure, National Oilwell 1320UE
Drawworks, and National Oilwell 10P130 Triplex Pumps. Rig
12 is capable of drilling to depths of 22,000 feet. The

Support
Equipment
Aquila Drilling has available two (2) Varco® TDS-9, 350 Ton
Top Drives and One (1) FDS 250 Ton Top Drive for use on
Aquila Rigs or available on a rental basis to third party
contractors. Additionally, Aquila Drilling maintains an
inventory of spare AC motors, DC Traction motors, National
10P130 Triplex Mud Pumps and other rotating equipment to
support its drilling operations.
