Aquila Rig #3 OIME PARCO S/L 7
(Working in West Texas)
Rig 3 has been in operation
since August 2005. Rig #3 operated in the Barnett Shale gas
play of North Texas on a contract basis for Eagle Oil & Gas
Co., True Star Petroleum, Inc., The Harding Company and
Chesapeake Operating, Inc. Rig 3 is currently operating in
West Texas for Matador Resources. It is a 1,200 hp rig
equipped to drill to depths of 14,000 feet. The complete

Aquila Rig #4 OIME PARCO S/L 7
(Working in East
Texas / Louisiana)
Rig 4 commenced operations in October 2006. Aquila Rig #4
operated in the Central and East Texas. Rig #4 has been
operating on a contract basis for Eagle Oil & Gas Co., True
Star Petroleum, Inc., Hunt Oil Co. and Stroud Petroleum,
Inc. Rig #4 is a 1,200 hp rig and is equipped to drill to a

Aquila Rig #8 NATIONAL 1320UE
(Working in West Texas)
Rig 8 has been
operating in West Texas for Chesapeake Energy since
commencing operations in July, 2006. Most recently Rig 8
was named Chesapeake Energy’s West Texas Rig of the Quarter
for the 1st Quarter of 2008.
Rig 8 is a National 1320 UE rig
and was manufactured by National Oilwell in 1978 in
National’s yard in Houston. Before purchase by Aquila, they
were one-owner rigs and were maintained in excellent
condition because of the maintenance requirements of their
customer/operator. In today’s drilling equipment market, it
is unusual to find equipment that has been matched from
initial manufacture and kept fully intact as is the case
with the three National rigs.
Rig 8 is equipped with a Lee
C. Moore mast, PARCO Substructure, National Oilwell 1320UE
Drawworks, and National Oilwell 10P1300 Triplex Pumps. The
